Is it possible to strip the plug from Christmas lights and use a battery for power?
If so, what is the smallest sized battery that can be used? I don't need to run the lights for long (only approximately 20-30 minutes) so time isn't a huge factor.

- Doubtful - as most Christmas lights run on AC power, not DC power. If your lights run off of DC - then make sure you have the proper voltage/watt rating on your batteries.............
- you will have to shorten the string of lights. too much for it to be any use to you. A typical bulb is about 2.4 volts. that more that a single battery can handle. you are better off with an led string. I've seen them @ dollar stores
- Maybe, if you can find a 110 volt battery.
