my brake lights and battery light come on when i drive over 70 miles or when i speed up, why?
it happened in december, and the car ended dyibg on me, i replaced it with abrand new battery in early january, and today the battery light and brake light started showing. what would cause this if i have a brand new battery.

- Usually the "Battery light" is controlled by the regulator, usually mounted on the alternator, take the car to a shop and have the alternator checked. One other thing, the belt that drives the alternator may be slipping, check the belt tensioner, if the car has one.
- It's a speed governor. You are not suppose to drive that car that fast. My bet it is a Chrysler product!
