What is a good Low light Camcorder that is cheap?

I am a college kid with a limited budget. I am over twenty and some of my friends get pretty crazy after a night at the frats. I ve been trying to get them to cut back but they dont believe me when i tell them how stupid they were acting. I want to tape some of their activities so they can see for themselves but i dont want to pay a lot for the camcorder

1. I think Sony cam is better. Almost have low light and night shot facility. But what do you expect from a cheap camera. Never mind just for fun and also for self learning. But you can do many things with camcorder.
2. Sony Night Shot is your best bet since good low light starts a $1000 with the Canon hv20.
