Video Camera Lights

Can you help me cover up the red light on my camcorder?

I have a very small Pure Digital Flip camcorder and it works great, it's so small I can hide it most anywhere and record things secretly, but there is a red light that is there when I record, I need a good idea that can cover up the red light. The idea can't ruin/decrease the value of my camcorder the light is very close to the lens... the dimensions of the light are about 3cm x 1mm it's very small, but very bright, thanks for your help!
